About Post Carbon Cities

This is the companion website to Post Carbon Cities: Planning for Energy and Climate Uncertainty by Daniel Lerch of Post Carbon Institute. It houses our database of local governments responding to peak oil, as well as our supporting archive of news and resources.

Post Carbon Cities is a project of Post Carbon Institute. Post Carbon Institute conducts research, develops resources and organizes leaders to aid the smooth transition of local economies to a world no longer dependent on hydrocarbon fuels nor emitting climate-changing levels of carbon: the post-carbon world.
